Rack shelf presentation

I would have never found out so much about furniture if it hadn^t been for that trip to the furniture factory that we went on a couple of years ago. We were still a small school then, and organising several trips during the school year was nothing complicated, so we often took our kids to various places such as museums, pars, zoos, the cinema, but also factories and railway stations to show them what working there really looks like. I guess kids learn lot during such trips, much more than they would just by reading books or listening to the teacher. So we took them to that huge furniture factory then. The factory made simple things such as cabinets, wardrobes and rack shelf. Most of these things were later distributed to warehouses or other industrial plants. That was not everyday furniture that you might use at home but rather things biught by large shopping centres or IT companies. Our students were particularly interested in the process of shaping wood and making soundproof cabinets. The man who showed us round explained in detail how a professional rack shelf is made at the factory. Actually, I had not expected the students to be so interested in the topic! They even asked him questions and begged to let them touch the machines.
